The Kerry Way Stage from Black Valley to Glencar is a scenic and challenging walk that stretches for about 20km (12 miles). The starting point for this stage is "the church in Black Valley", and follows the Kerry Way trail. Along the way, hikers will be treated to stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountain range, the Lakes of Killarney, and the Gap of Dunloe. Along the route, hikers will also pass through the picturesque villages of Beaufort, Sneem, and Kenmare. The route is mostly on gravel paths, but there are some sections of road walking, so it is important to be aware of traffic. The route is relatively easy to follow, but it is important to be prepared for the changeable weather conditions that can be found in the area. The route finishes in the village of Glencar, where there are a number of pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
