Golf on The Ring of Kerry

Some of the most acclaimed links and parkland courses in Ireland, many in exquisitely beautiful settings, are located along the Ring of Kerry and are played by golfers from all over the world. Visitors are welcome in all.

The lakeside Killeen course at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club has hosted the Irish Open Golf Championship three times – 1991, ’92, and 2010 – the Curtis Cup in 1996 and numerous other events.

Further along the Ring, the Waterville link is extremely popular with American players, especially. Some of the top golfers to play there include Tiger Woods, Mark O’Meara, and the late Payne Stewart. A life-size, bronze statue of Stewart stands beside the clubhouse.

Take a look at our list of golf courses and links in Kerry. We hope you enjoy it!
